The Upgrades · Cork & Munster

The work, done properly.

Four upgrades cover most of what an Irish home needs: the attic, the walls, the roof and the sun. Here is what each one involves, who turns up, and what the grant covers.

Roof & Attic Insulation

The first upgrade almost every home should make.

Heat rises, and an under-insulated attic lets it straight out. Our installers work between the joists and rafters with mineral wool to current standards, ventilation preserved, done cleanly and usually in a day.

  • Attic floor or rafter insulation to current spec
  • Ventilation and pipe lagging preserved
  • SEAI paperwork handled for you

External Wall Insulation

Wrap the whole house. Lose the cold walls, gain a new facade.

Insulation boards fixed to the outside of the house, finished in a weatherproof render. It removes cold bridges, protects the structure and gives the home a fresh exterior, all in one project.

  • Whole-surface insulation, no partial jobs
  • New render finish in your choice of tone
  • Scaffolding, making-good and tidy handover

Reroofing

When repair stops making sense, we tell you.

A roof at the end of its life undermines every other upgrade. Our roofers are harnessed, certified and honest about the repair-or-replace line. When it is replacement, the new roof goes on fully insulated.

  • Full strip and reslate or retile
  • Insulation and breathable membrane as standard
  • Leadwork, flashings and chimney checks

Solar PV

Once the fabric is right, make your own power.

Panels sized to your roof and your usage, installed by certified crews with edge protection and harnesses. Best after insulation: an efficient home makes every panel work harder.

  • Roof survey and panel layout design
  • Certified installation and grid paperwork
  • Works with your future heat pump plans

Also on the van

Smaller jobs that make the big ones work, done by the same crews to the same standard.

Chimney Renovation

Repair, reline or seal. An open, unlined chimney is a hole in your roof, and often the missing piece in a cold home.

Complete Home Insulation

Attic, walls and floors planned as one coordinated job, so you never pay twice for scaffolding or paperwork.

Retrofit Support & Making-Good

The reinstatement, plastering and decorating that make a heat pump or solar install look like it was always part of the house.

How we show up
