We explain before we recommend
You'll always know why we're suggesting something, in plain English, with the grant maths shown. And when the cheaper option is the right one, that's the one we'll tell you about.
We're a Cork crew that puts insulation, roofing and retrofit under one roof, so your home gets one plan, one standard and one lot of paperwork. Which we do for you, by the way.
SEAI Registered · CIRI Registered · Fully Insured
Here's the problem we kept seeing across Cork and Munster: a homeowner wants a warmer house, and suddenly they're project-managing a roofer, an insulation crew and a plasterer who've never met, while chasing a grant application none of them will own.
So we built Ballyhome the other way round. The whole job lives under one roof: the survey, the grant paperwork, the insulation, the roofing, the making-good, the post-works BER. One crew that answers the phone, one standard across the lot, and one person accountable when you ring with a question.
Cork is home. Munster is the patch. And the kettle is usually on.
Written down so you can hold us to them.

Photos before, during and after, on every job. If it's hidden behind a wall or above a ceiling, you still get to see it. The council likes that. So do the neighbours.
Tidy site, daily clean-up, agreed working hours, boots off where boots should be off. The house is handed back the way we'd want our own handed back.
If something doesn't need doing, you'll hear that too. If a grant won't come through before winter, we say so. No surprises is a feature we install on every job, free.
No stock-photo handshakes. This is what the work actually looks like.
Badges are easy to put on a website. Here's what each one actually does for you.
It means our work qualifies for SEAI energy grants, and we can lodge the applications for you. Without a registered contractor, there's no grant. Simple as.
CIRI Registered The Construction Industry Register Ireland is the statutory register of competent builders. Being on it means our standards are checked by someone other than ourselves.
Public liability and employer's insurance, with the paperwork ready to show before we start. The insurance letter the council asks for on roof repairs? That's ours to sort.
A defined footprint means we can actually turn up: fast response, local accountability, and no "we'll be down your way eventually".
"We treat every home like it's our own: warm, finished properly, and handed back clean."
The Ballyhome promise, made on every job
A free assessment, straight answers, and the grant paperwork done for you. Worst case, you'll know exactly where your home stands.
